2012 Hokie Open - Sunday,
November 4, 2012: The
Fifth Annual Hokie
Open Wrestling Tournament is now
complete. Coaches, wrestlers compete,
and friends, family and fans gathered for our 5th Annual Hokie
Open at the spacious Salem Civic Center
in Salem, VA (just off of I-81 near
Roanoke, VA). Another great day of
wrestling kick-off the 2012 - 2013
season as some of the top talent in the
country headed to SW Virginia to compete
head-to-head. You can still review
details from the tournament results,
much as you could have viewed the Live Bout Board for
real-time progress and results of every
match as they happened!

This year
315 wrestlers weighed in to
compete in the 2012 edition of the Hokie
Open. Wrestlers representing
themselves and more than 20 college teams (VA
Tech, VMI, University of Virginia,
Hofstra, United States Air Force Academy, University of North Carolina,
North Carolina State University, Appalachian State University, Newberry College, The
Citadel, Indiana University, Ohio University,
Rutgers, King
College, Duke University, Washington &
Lee, Gardner-Webb
University, Liberty University and the University of
Tennessee - Chattanooga).
